WOOOHOOOO!!!!

Okay, normally I really HATE accepting charity, but my grandmother offered to loan me the $525 to see the first doc and I have an appointment for Tuesday at 2:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I'm so happy I could scream-but I won't because I think my cube mate would freak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That is absolutely fantastic Jenny!! I totally understand your not liking the upfront fees they charge.

    This is why I had my Surgery in Reno, NV instead of the Sacramento area closer to where I live. The Surgeon's in our area wanted $3000-$3500 upfront, out of pocket, non-negotiable, non-refundable by the Insurance Company!!! My Surgeon in Reno only wanted about $300 upfront. Much more reasonable. :)

    As for the Protein Shakes, I wouldn't buy them through the Doctor!! They are way too expensive. I found a great tasting one which is much less money at Costco.

    It is called Premium Pro-Rated (Protein Powder). I only used the Milk Chocolate and it tastes like milk chocolate! It comes in a 6 lb bag for $28.99 and has about 70 servings in it and 25 grams of protein!! Much less money than the Doctor's office! Mine tried to sell their products too. But said I could use others.
